Privacy
in plain English.

Player Driven (“Player Driven”, “we”, “our”) operates the website at playerdriven.io and related podcasts, newsletters, and member services. This page explains what data we collect from you, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

If you subscribe to the newsletter or join a waitlist, we collect the email address (and optionally name) you provide. We store it in our database and in our email service provider (Loops).

If you visit the site, we collect anonymous traffic data through our analytics providers: Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless) and Google Analytics 4. This covers pages viewed, referrer, country-level location, and device/browser type.

If you create a member account, we collect the information you give our authentication provider (Clerk): email, name, and optionally a profile photo. If you choose to link Discord, we also store your Discord username and ID so we can grant your member role. Accounts are optional. You can use most of the site without one.

Advertising. We run a Reddit advertising pixel that records page visits so we can measure whether our Reddit ads are working. It captures visits only (no name, email, or advanced identity matching). You can limit this with your browser’s tracking controls or Reddit’s ad settings.

We do not sell your personal data or use it to train AI models.

Why we collect it

To send you the newsletter you signed up for, to operate the service, to understand which content is useful so we make more of it, and to fulfill legal obligations (e.g. responding to unsubscribe requests).

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from any email with one click. You can request a copy of the data we hold on you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@playerdriven.io. We respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication in member areas (Clerk), analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4; Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless), and the Reddit advertising pixel described above. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; the essential ones are only needed when you sign in.
