Who runs this,
and why.
Player Driven is the learning network for the people who design, run, and rebuild live games. We make a podcast, a livestream, a long-form essay series, and (soon) a cohort-based Academy. Across all four, we're after the same thing: the actual craft of keeping games running.
We started because there was a gap. The conversations operators have with each other in Slack DMs and at conferences — about live ops cadence, sunsetting, economy design, trust & safety, community pressure — don't make it into public writing often enough. The trade press covers funding and launches. Industry blogs cover frameworks. Almost nobody covers the day-to-day reality of running a live service.
So we're building the publication we wanted to read.

founder and host of Player Driven, a games industry media and education platform built for the people who keep games running, player support, community, live ops, and trust and safety teams. Through the podcast, Player Driven Live, and hands-on workshops. When I'm not recording or building something new, I coach baseball, love gardening/cooking, and losing track of time in a good game.

Beyond the shows, Greg works with a small number of partners on go-to-market content, onboarding documentation, and thought leadership for the gaming-ops audience. It's selective and mostly by referral. If that's what you're here for, mention it when you reach out below.
